Take action on our Local Action Plan

Our Local Action Plan is focused on creating a pathway for challenging and changing how we manage waste within the city.

The plan covers a range of actions from all levels of the waste hierarchy and is designed to help our city shift away from just managing waste, to instead carrying out actions that focus on reducing, reusing, and recycling, as well as containing actions for Council to carry out in collaboration and partnership with mana whenua, businesses, industry, and the community to drive change.
